Introduction

We are rolling out an update for our shipping software, Piyovi version (v24.04.04), on April 29th, 2024. Below, you will find the release topics and their details.

Rate Shop

We have introduced a new screen for quick rate shopping with minimal details required, such as zip code. Now, you can effortlessly compare rates and conveniently download and export the results.

1. Rate shop presented on a dedicated screen.
2. Ability to rate shop with just zip code.
3. Downloads rate shop results in Excel.
4. Print rate shop results in PDF format.

Rate Shop History

Moving forward, we will store each rate shop history with the carrier used to ship, as well as the option to download in Excel. This information can be examined at any time against a shipment to determine which carrier was used to ship and what other carriers offered.

1. The Rates tab consolidates a comprehensive list of carriers offering shipment rates.
2. The selected shipping carrier is highlighted, and an arrow shows a detailed list of charges.
3. Allows you to download the report in Excel, however, the Excel report does not specify which carrier was used for shipment.

Spot Quote Enhancement

We have enhanced our existing module with some new features. In addition to submitting documents, you can also participate in real-time communication with carriers within Piyovi instead of emails.

Freight class calculations

Previously, our calculations were based solely on parameters such as Length, Width, Height, and Weight. However, we have now included the number of packages into the calculation process. As a result, when determining the freight class, we now consider the number of packages, potentially leading to different freight class.

Copy/Clone Shipment

The clone/Clone functionality allows you to clone an existing shipment and generate a new one that may be shipped. New shipments should always be in draft.

Shipment Upload Document

Allows you to upload documents to an existing shipment which can be used for references.

Surcharge Report

We have enhanced our reporting module to include detailed information about shipment surcharges. In the current shipment report (Excel), we have added a new sheet named 'Surcharges' next to the 'Shipments' sheet. The surcharges report includes all surcharge details, as well as the corresponding Shipment ID and Tracking ID for easy reference. This addition is available for both Excel export and Master export downloads.
