Navi

Overview

Navi is the AI assistant built directly into the Piyovi application, developed by Cloudleap. It is available on every screen and is designed to help users understand processes, troubleshoot issues, interpret complex forms, and escalate problems to the support team — all without leaving Piyovi.

Accessing Navi

Navi is always visible as a panel on the right side of the Piyovi application. It requires no setup or separate login. To begin, simply type your question into the Navi input field and press Enter or click the send button.

Features

Answering Process Questions

Navi answers questions about how to use any feature or workflow within Piyovi. When you ask a procedural question, Navi provides a complete, numbered step-by-step response and cites the source of the information.

Example: Asking "What are the steps for submitting a spot quote request?" returns a full breakdown of the process, from entering shipment details through to selecting a carrier on the Spot Quote tab.

Contextual Follow-Up Conversations

Navi maintains the context of your conversation throughout an exchange. You do not need to repeat yourself when asking follow-up questions.

💡 Tip: When switching to a completely different topic, click the New Chat button at the top of the Navi panel to reset the conversation context.

Troubleshooting Application Issues

When something is not working as expected, describe the problem to Navi in plain language. Navi will walk through the most common causes, suggest checks to perform, and help determine whether the issue is isolated or systemic.

Example: If a delivery number is entered but no shipment data populates and no error message appears, ask Navi: "When I enter my delivery number, none of the data populated."

Navi will respond by walking through the most likely causes:

  • Sync timing (the delivery may not yet have synced to Piyovi)
  • An issue with the delivery number itself
  • Location or warehouse setup configuration

If you confirm the issue is happening for all deliveries, Navi recognizes this as a broader sync or configuration issue and begins gathering the details the support team will need:

  • Example delivery numbers
  • The warehouse or location affected
  • The environment (Production, UAT, etc.)
  • When the issue first started

Raising a Support Ticket

When an issue cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, Navi can create a support ticket directly from the conversation.

Steps to raise a ticket:

  1. After troubleshooting with Navi, type "raise a ticket" in the chat.
  2. Navi opens a short form where you can optionally add extra context or details.
  3. Click the submit button. The ticket is created immediately.
  4. Navi returns a ticket number (e.g., Ticket #7223) along with confirmation that a response is committed from a Cloudleap Support engineer.

The ticket is fully pre-populated with the problem description, troubleshooting steps already attempted, and the expected outcome — no additional follow-up required.

Screen Reading via Screenshot

Navi can read what is on your screen if you paste a screenshot directly into the chat. This is especially useful on complex, multi-field screens such as the International tab of a shipment.

How to use screenshot-based help:

  1. Take a screenshot of the screen you need help with.
  2. Paste the screenshot directly into the Navi chat input field.
  3. Ask your question, e.g., "How do I fill this?"

Navi will identify and explain every visible field.

Inline Error Explanation

Every error message in the Piyovi application displays a Navi icon directly next to it. Clicking this icon immediately opens a Navi explanation for that specific error.

What Navi provides for each error:

  • A plain-language explanation of what the error means
  • A specific list of things to check (e.g., shipment origin, carrier account, service level)
  • The most common root cause
  • The recommended fix

Example: The error "The requested service is invalid for the shipment origin" prompts Navi to explain that the selected carrier service does not support the origin country or location, and that the fix is to choose a service valid for the shipping route.

To continue troubleshooting beyond the initial explanation, click "Need more? Ask Navi" to open a full conversation with the error already included as context.
