26.08.01

Introduction

We are pleased to announce the release of Piyovi v26.08.01, which includes key enhancements aimed at improving usability, operational efficiency, and shipment visibility. Below is a summary of the new features and updates included in this release.

Customizable Doc Tab for 4x8 Carrier Labels

The Doc Tab on 4x8 carrier labels has been enhanced to provide greater flexibility for customer-specific labeling requirements.

Previously, the Doc Tab used a fixed layout with a predefined set of information. It can now be customized to match your company's operational and labeling needs.

What Can Be Customized

Based on your requirements, the Doc Tab can be tailored to include:

  • Reference Numbers — Choose which reference information appears on the label.
  • Barcodes — Display selected reference numbers as scannable barcodes.
  • Freight / Cost Information — Include applicable published, discounted, or marked-up values.
  • Custom Attributes — Include relevant shipment, package, or item-level information.
  • Package Details — Include information such as weight, dimensions, declared value, tracking number, and dates.
  • Label Naming and Layout — Customize the label content and layout to better align with your business requirements.

Benefits

This enhancement provides greater flexibility to create 4x8 carrier labels that better fit your operational processes, reducing the limitations of the previous fixed Doc Tab format.

Notes:

  • No changes are required for existing customers. Current 4x8 labels will continue to print as they do today.
  • Doc Tab customization is available based on customer requirements.
  • If you would like to customize the Doc Tab for your organization, please contact the Piyovi Support Team with your requirements.

Webhook Failure Notifications in In-App Notifications

Piyovi now displays webhook delivery failures in the In-App Notifications panel, allowing users to identify integration issues and take action without navigating to the Webhook page.

Benefits

  • Quickly identify failed webhook deliveries.
  • Review failure details directly from the notification.
  • Retry failed webhooks without leaving the current page.

Enable notifications: Configuration → Integrations & API → Webhook → Add/Edit Webhook → Notify To Shipper

How to Use

First, open the required webhook and enable Notify To Shipper. This setting must be enabled to receive webhook failure notifications in the application. When a webhook delivery fails, the Bell icon displays the notification count. Click the Bell icon to open the Notifications panel and view the failed webhook.

Each webhook failure provides two actions:

  • View — Opens the event details, including the URL, response status, status message, and other event information.
  • Resend — Retries the failed webhook delivery.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Configuration → Integrations & API → Webhook.
  2. Add or edit the required webhook.
  3. Enable Notify To Shipper and save the webhook.
  4. When a delivery fails, click the Bell icon in the application header.
  5. Locate the Webhook Failed notification.
  6. Select View to review the failure or Resend to retry the webhook.

Notes: Notify To Shipper must be enabled on the webhook to receive webhook failure notifications through the Bell icon.

Return Configuration in Business Rules

Business Rules now include a dedicated Return tab that allows return shipment settings to be configured directly within the rule.

Benefits

  • Reduces manual entry when creating return shipments.
  • Helps apply consistent return carrier and payment settings.
  • Supports location-aware return configuration.
  • Prevents invalid carrier, service level, or account selections from being applied.
  • Keeps return settings centrally managed within Business Rules.

Configuration → Rule Engine → Business Rules → Add/Edit Rule → Return

Note : The Return tab is available only for Business Rules.

How to Use

The new Return tab allows users to define the return shipment settings that should be applied when the Business Rule is matched.

Available fields include:

  • Carrier
  • Service Level
  • Account
  • Type
