SFTP Channel & Webhook Support for Report Scheduler Notifications
We have enhanced the Report Scheduler and File Exchange modules by introducing SFTP-based storage channel support. This enhancement allows users to configure an SFTP connector, create a storage channel in File Exchange, and use that channel while setting up report schedulers.
A new SFTP connector is now available under Configuration → Integrations & API → Connectors.
This connector can be used to define SFTP connection details, which can then be linked to a Storage Channel in File Exchange → Configuration.
Once the storage channel is configured, it can be used in the Report Scheduler to deliver reports through SFTP.
Connector Library Enhancement
A new SFTP connector has been added to the Connector Library.
Navigation
Configuration → Integrations & API → Connectors

Connector Configuration Fields
Users can configure the following SFTP connection details:
- Host
- Port
- Username
- Password
- Path
- Status

Module Enhancement – File Exchange
The File Exchange module has been updated to improve usability and extensibility.
Updated Layout
A new tab-based structure has been introduced:
- Files Tab :Contains the existing File Exchange functionality and file listing. No functional changes were made to this tab
- Configuration Tab :Newly added section used to create and manage storage channels
File Exchange – Add Channel Functionality
A new Add Channel option is now available under:
Configuration → Shipping & Compliance → File Exchange → Configuration
Users can create a storage channel using the new modal.

Add Channel – Info Tab
The following fields are available:
- Display Name
- Reference ID
- Method
- Status
Add Channel – Configuration Tab
The following SFTP details can be configured:
- Host
- Port
- Username
- Password
- Path

Note:
- If the channel-level configuration fields are left blank, the system will use the values from the previously configured SFTP connector information.
- If needed, users can also enter a different set of SFTP details directly in the channel configuration.
This provides flexibility to:
- Reuse existing SFTP connector settings
- Create channel-specific SFTP configurations when required
Report Scheduler Integration
Once the storage channel is created in File Exchange Configuration, it can be selected while creating a Report Scheduler. This allows scheduled reports to be delivered through the configured SFTP storage channel.

Note:
- Proper permissions are required to manage and use storage channels.
- New permissions have also been added for storage channel access, including:
- Manage Storage Channel
- Storage Channel - Readonly
Steps:
Configure SFTP Connector
Go to:
Configuration → Integrations & API → Connectors
- Open the SFTP connector
- Enter Host, Port, Username, Password, and Path
- Save the connector
Create Storage Channel in File Exchange
Go to:
Configuration → Shipping & Compliance → File Exchange → Configuration
- Click Add Channel
- In the Info tab, enter Display Name, Method, and Status
- In the Configuration tab, enter SFTP details if required
If left blank, system uses the SFTP connector details already configured
- Save the channel
Assign Permissions
Ensure the required permissions are given to the user/role:
· Manage Storage Channel, or
· Storage Channel - Readonly
Use Channel in Report Scheduler
- Create or update a Report Scheduler and select the configured storage channel for report delivery.
- Scheduled reports will then be delivered to the configured SFTP location.
Key Benefits
· Enables report delivery through SFTP
· Supports reusable or channel-specific configuration
· Improves File Exchange structure with clear separation of Files and Configuration
File Validation Enhancement – Upload Validation Based on Configuration
We have introduced a new enhancement in the Invoice Audit module to validate invoice files during upload based on predefined configuration.
This ensures that only valid and correctly structured invoice files are accepted, improving data accuracy and reducing processing errors.
Previous Behavior
-
Invoice files were uploaded without validation checks
-
Errors in file structure or data were identified only after processing
-
Increased chances of invalid data entering the system
-
Manual effort required to identify and correct issues
What’s New
Invoice File Validation on Upload
-
Added a validation mechanism during invoice upload
-
Validation is performed based on configured rules and connection setup
-
Ensures only compliant files are accepted into the system
Validate File Option
-
Introduced a “Validate File” toggle in the Import Invoice screen
-
When enabled:
-
File is validated before upload
-
Upload proceeds only if validation passes
-
-
When disabled:
- File uploads without validation (existing behavior)
Configuration-Based Validation
-
Validation logic is driven by Invoice Audit configuration (Connections setup)
-
Uses defined parameters such as:
-
Integration Type
-
File format (e.g., EDI 210, DHL, etc.)
-
Mapping and structure rules
-
Key Benefits
- Improved Data Accuracy : Prevents invalid or incorrectly formatted invoice files
- Early Error Detection : Issues are identified during upload instead of post-processing
- Reduced Manual Effort : Minimizes rework and corrections
- Flexible Control : Users can enable or disable validation as needed
Feature Behavior
- selects invoice file for upload
- Enables Validate File toggle (optional)
- System validates file based on configuration
- If validation passes → File is uploaded successfully
- If validation fails → Error is shown, and upload is blocked

Behavior Details
- All new passwords must meet the minimum length of 10 characters
- Applies to:
- New user creation
- Password reset
- Change Password screen
- If the password is less than 10 characters:
- System displays validation error
- User cannot proceed until requirement is met
- Existing users can continue using current passwords until they update/reset
Key Benefits
- Improved account security

Feature Details
Distance in Rate Shop
When the routing connector (PC*Miler) is enabled and properly configured:
- Distance returned by PC*Miler will be displayed in the Rate Shop grid
- A new Distance column is shown along with rate details
Distance in Shipment (Ship View)
During shipment creation:
- If the routing connector returns distance successfully
- The distance will be saved with the shipment
- It will be displayed in the Shipment → Rates section
Configuration Dependency
This feature works based on the following conditions:
- Routing connector (PC*Miler) must be enabled
- Total Distance option must be enabled in Carrier Configuration
Configuration Path:
Configuration → Carrier → Select Carrier → Enable Total Distance

Behavior
- Distance is fetched dynamically from PC*Miler during rate shop
- The same distance is persisted when the shipment is created
- If distance is not returned by the connector, the field will remain blank
Key Benefits
- Provides better decision-making during rate selection
- Improves transparency of shipment distance
- Ensures consistency between Rate Shop and Shipment data
Notes:
- Distance is displayed only when returned successfully by the connector
- Requires proper configuration of routing and carrier settings
Shipment Error & Warning Visibility Enhancement
We have enhanced shipment visibility by introducing Error and Warning tracking directly within the Shipment module. In addition to existing error handling, the system now captures carrier warnings and displays them in the UI, improving transparency and troubleshooting capabilities.
Changes Implemented
